I know like half of the people there though, will be Jason Statham-fan boys because that's what always happens in these things, but oh hey that's so cool in a kind of lol 'this-is-so camp' kind of way.

I promised myself that I'd do this desperately just because the sheer amount of stupid fangirl dumbass Kongoh Bancho has reduced me too. Honestly.

I'm really surprised I didn't find this series before given my affinity for delinquents, and well...banchou. The first moment, this series got me though?



...Oh my heart.

She is enraptured.

I think, this is the first time in a long time, I've fallen back in love with a series--best part: NO SELF-RIGHTEOUSNESS/FAILED ATTEMPTS AT BEING DEEP/CAR-CRASH LAWLS POLITICS.

Because the series itself doesn't take itself to seriously at all. It's like shounen fluff--though it's very fast paced and the characters are likable. One of my favorite things about this series, is that it just gets so over-the-top it's crazy--Kongoh has to date fought using a car WITH LIVING PEOPLE INSIDE, has relatives who are literally as big as mountains and caused holes in the Diet building roof/unsuspecting taxi cars, thrown a tree, and fought with missiles being fired on him by the unsuspecting Japanese military. You don't know, how much I want to climb this mountain of a man.

There are 23 banchou--so far since once again with series I fall so hard for--the scanlation team seems to have just up and disappeared most are defeated and either never heard from again or along with the standard shounen fair--end up allying with him.

The only downside to this series, besides slow updates is just...lack of fandom. Though considering how anti-fandom in general I'm becoming this is probably a good thing? I'm not really sure anymore, though I would like to read lame, not even really relevant gay-fic of Hikyou/Iai banchou even though they don't really talk to each other and when they do it's never pleasant--to be fair, Hikyou seems to grate everyone's nerves except Gouraki and even then I think it's cause she's too young to understand the implications...

On an unrelated note, all other series seem to be on slow days, Gintama's new arc doesn't really look all that promising and I'm not really digging the whole Gintoki/Tsukuyo thing. Also the new OP/EDs are kind of boring?

Nothing else I'm really reading seems to have anything significant happen besides fillers, and I still need to finish 07 Ghost, Monster, Mushishi, and at least glance at TRC's ending. It deserves a slight glance at that...

Today/yesterday marks the NINE MONTHS ANNIVERSARY of me and waifu--I've never felt so blessed.

Also, whoever sent me this really cute Frog Pin from San Juan lol there was no lj handle or letter sooo yeah you are totally awesome and 'thanks' does no justice for it all and he is chillin on my bag. And I am totally lame and forgot to thank dragon_gypsy for the awesome delicious brownies--they were ace.

So I've finally decided to start cleaning up my flist--since a lot seem to be dead journals/people who I've drifted apart from--and I'm kind of getting tired of wading through it all.

If you find yourself de-friended and re-friended--it's cause I can't read and got your username mixed up with another person's. Or, more realistically, decided to try again and see if we can get along since we've got mutual friends and you do seem like a nice person--feel free to de-friend me at any time by the way, I won't take offense, I'm just too over-whelmed by the sheer amount of people on my fl. I keep missing people who've been with me for years over people I've yet to really speak to/comm spam.

Also Twenty People fest was short, though it was still rather fun. Though urgh cannot look at Journey to the West and Hay Fever the same way again.

I need to do like a picture post one day just to show our epic white boards. Oh and off all the crap I took pictures of during that weekend I had completely off and did nothing.

Also, someday I'm going to give luci a pat on the back. Just a one of comraderie and just thanks for stuff. Idk. Also yatsu taunted me with food while I was buying my glasses online yesterday--I cried a little. And I finally got to talk to giri and not make somewhat of an ass of myself. Yus.
